March StoryWalk at the French Art Colony

The Library's new StoryWalk title is now on display at the French Art Colony.

Stop by, enjoy the gardens and grounds, and read Pirate's Perfect Pet by Beth Ferry.

Big brave Captain Crave can check off most items on the "Be Your Best Buccaneer" handy checklist.

He has a pirate ship, an eye patch, courage and daring, and more.

Only one thing is missing: Captain Crave doesn't have a pet.

NO PET? Well, shuck me an oyster! That won't do! All hands on deck!

Join the captain and his crew as they race and chase critters of every size and shape, causing a commotion wherever they go -- as good pirates should.

And just when all seems lost -- AHOY! - the search party stumbles upon what may be the most perfectly perfect pet for Captain Crave

YO HO!

Our next StoryWalk title will be available the beginning of April.

StoryWalk is a way for children and adults to enjoy both the great outdoors and great children's books. Follow the pages of the story as you walk from frame to frame along the path. StoryWalk promotes literacy, physical activity, and parent/caregiver involvement.

The StoryWalk Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg Hubbard Library. StoryWalk is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
