Digital Card Application

Patrons with current library cards are not eligible to apply for a digital-only library card.

Those eligible to apply for a digital-only library card include:

  • Anyone who is at least 4 years of age who is living, working, or attending school in Ohio, and anyone who owns property in Gallia County.
  • Residents of Mason County, WV
  • Digital-only card holders who are interested in a regular library card will need to apply in person at the Library, as per policy.

All digital library card applications are reviewed by Bossard Library staff. Please provide true and accurate information, including your legal name and current mailing address. Applications can take several days to process. Please call 740.446.7323 for additional information.

 I, the applicant, will inform the Library if my contact information changes.  I will report a lost/stolen card immediately as I understand I am solely responsible for the use of my library card until I report it lost/stolen.  I certify that to the best of my knowledge and belief, all information that I have provided on this digital card application is correct and complete.

 I certify that if this application is being submitted for a minor child of whom I am the parent or legal guardian, I agree to monitor the material my minor child selects and borrows on this digital card.   I will inform the Library if my contact information changes.  I will report a lost/stolen card immediately as I understand I am solely responsible for the  use of my library card until I report it lost/stolen.  I certify that to the best of my knowledge and belief, all information that I have provided on this digital card application is correct and complete.
